From initial design through to completion, Inertia puts every product under the microscope, optimizing its design and functionality while avoiding costly delays associated with tooling changes and prototype iteration. More efficient than traditional standalone analysis techniques, our concurrent design/analyze/optimize process helps shorten development cycles and reduce development costs.
Our Analysis and Simulation capabilities consist of:
- Finite Element Analysis — FEA predicts the physical behaviour of components. The results are used in the design process to optimize the product prior to physical prototyping and testing. Inertia utilizes SolidWorks Simulation Finite Element Analysis to allow for concurrent design, analysis and optimization of products using linear or non-linear static, thermal, frequency and buckling, optimization, and fatigue tools.
- Multi-body Dynamics Simulation consists of kinematics — the study of motion without considering the forces that cause it — and kinetics, the study of motion and its causes. Inertia uses SolidWorks Simulation dynamic simulation software to significantly shorten design-optimization cycles by allowing complex mechanical systems and events to be both created and analyzed within the same software application.
Leveraging the full potential of these interoperable design and analysis tools, IE+D can substantially decrease your product's development time and cost.
