Will it work? How will it perform? Inertia's product validation process will tell you.
Validation is the process by which products and their designs are checked to ensure they comply with appropriate standards and specifications and fulfill their intended function. Early prototypes and mockups are critical elements of Inertia's development process. These confirm and optimize design paths in the early stages of development to save valuable time and money.
To validate matured designs, Inertia conducts systematic risk assessments, rigorous product simulation and physical performance testing on production-intent prototypes.
Drawing on our extensive experience in the automotive industry, Inertia systematically maps out the validation process using Design Verification Plan and Reporting (DVP&R) and identifies potential product failure risks through Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
These validation activities are all critical components of the Real World Thinking Inertia applies to every project to ensure it's done right – the first time.
